Agentastic 0.0.1 — Initial Release

We’re excited to announce the first public release of Agentastic (v0.0.1). This version establishes the core, fast, and reliable agentic experience that works everywhere you type.

Highlights in 0.0.1

• Agent: Call AI agents with /agent or tap the 🧠 overlay.
• Inline chat completions: Type prompts in square brackets like [rewrite this email] to get in‑place suggestions from ChatGPT, Claude, Q, or your preferred model. Context is included automatically—no copy/paste.
• Text expansion: Lightning‑fast snippets (e.g., type ;hello).
• Web search: Add /search to any prompt to include live web results.
• Purple dot: Select text to reveal the purple dot; click it to summon and connect the agent to the current app.
• Memory and channels: Personalize behavior with #user (your instructions) and let agents keep notes in #agent. Create topics like #fitness, #myvoice, #project-x, or #goodmorning.
• AI commands: Define custom commands in Settings. Favorites include /prompt (optimize a prompt for other LLMs) and /tab (chat with the current web page).
• Vision mode: Let Agentastic "see" your screen via the eye icon or with /screen.
• Tools: Built‑in tools for web and search, files, messages, email, Chrome, shell, code, calendars, and more.

Getting started

1. Download and install the app: Download Agentastic.
2. On first launch, grant Accessibility permissions.
3. Open Agentastic → Settings to set up templates, triggers, and model preferences.
4. Try a few quick actions:

Type ;hello to expand a snippet
Enter [howdy] to get an inline completion
Press ⌘+\ or click the purple dot, then type: /agent What's happening today?
