Install & Manage

Manage your skills in Settings → Skills. This page covers finding, installing, editing, and removing them.

Browse and search Skillopedia

  • Search — open the Skillopedia search and type what you need (e.g. "email triage"). Results show the skill title, description, and tags.
  • Browse — explore the catalog by category, paginated, to discover skills you didn't know to look for.

Click a skill to preview it, then Install to add it to your library. Installed skills are enabled by default.

You can deep-link an install: opening Skillopedia with a skill's slug pre-fills the search so you land right on it.

Import from GitHub

For skills that live in a repository, use the advanced GitHub import: provide the owner/repo and the skill name. Agentastic shows a security review of the skill's contents before installing, so you can see exactly what you're adding.

Edit a skill

Select a skill to open its files in an editor:

  • View and edit the SKILL.md and any supporting files inline; changes are saved to your skill library.
  • Use Open skills folder to work with the files directly on disk.

Custom commands

The Commands tab lets you define your own shortcuts that you invoke directly (separate from a skill's auto-matching). Add a command, give it a trigger and instructions, and save.

Enable, disable, and delete

  • Disable a skill to keep it installed but inactive.
  • Delete removes the skill's folder entirely (you'll be asked to confirm).
